Six Sigma As Problem Solving Technique
There are two sides of business improvement - science and the art. Some of the most innovative and creative companies know how to use the both like Apple, Samsung, Google, Facebook and many more. Such companies are often the most admired and loved ones by people.
However, this simple learning is mostly overlooked by the majority of the companies, who tend to operate it just on the scientific principles which gradually start losing its true spirit and soul.
Six Sigma though is quite a hard science which mostly relies on the data for any decision making, but at the same time, it is also about making the right decisions and using the human judgement. It is also about innovating and designing new business processes. It is also about satisfying the customers. It is the human eye with which you see things.
Personally I would like to see things first with human eyes and then proceed to make it better with simple tools.
